This budget tour is a modification or our popular Discover Cameroon Tour to suit low budget travelers. This cheap tour is particularly suitable for volunteers, or persons on a low budget who want to see as much as possible in Cameroon. We use public transportation from our partners (Jeannot Express and BucaVoyages Bus Services) to travel from one town to another, and use taxi to move in town, thereby reducing the cost of the tour. Despite the "unpredictable" journeys (we can not control departures time!), you will still get to see the best in Cameroon and watch how people, wildlife, vegetation and landscape change from one place to another. From the Limbe Botanical Garden to the Benoué National Park, passing through the Limbe zoo (Wildlife center) and the Sultanate of Foumban, nature will reveal all its secrets to you. You will have the opportunity to discover the rich culture of the grassfield's people.

Day 01

  • Arrival and reception at Douala International Airport
  • Board taxi to hotel and overnight

Day 02

  • Board Taxi to Bonaberi Bus Station to board a bus to Limbe
  • Arrival at the Mile 4 Bus Station and board taxi to hotel
  • Check-in at hotel
  • Visit of the Limbe Botanical Garden
  • Visit of the Limbe zoo (wildlife center)
  • Lunch at Down-Beach with spicy rosted fresh fish
  • Relaxation at volcanic black-sand beach
  • Dinner and Overnight in hotel

Day 03

  • Board taxi to the Mile 4 Bus Station and board a bus for Kumba
  • Arrival in Kumba and check-in at hotel
  • Board taxi to the entrance of lake Barombi and walk to the lake
  • Canoe ride or walk to visit the small village of Barombi and its people
  • Board taxi to return to hotel

Day 04

  • Board taxi to the Fiango Bus Station and board a bus for Bandjoun

  • Board taxi to the Sultanate of Foumban
  • Visit of the Sultanate, the museum and the market with many traditional fabrics
  • Visit of the artisanal street where you will find may crafts; you may want to buy some "souvenirs"

  • Board a bus to Bafoussam
  • Board a bus at Jeannot Express Bus Service to Bamenda
  • Arrival in Bamenda and check-in at hotel

Day 08

  • BBoard bus to Bafut
  • Guided visit of the Bafut palace; you will listen to traditional folklore and discover priceless instruments
